(I'm feeling peaceful)

Today my brand new '08 Buell XB12s was delivered to my doorstep and it is a real pleasure to ride. So far all I've had time to upload has been a quick walk around but I'll do some pictures and video later for sure.

The guy who dropped it off said it's the best that he's seen all year because it's all black and the others he has delivered had either the translucent features or different sets of wheels and details (ie red wheels w/ black fly screen and air box cover). I believe it; this is a beautiful street fighter.

If you're unfamiliar with Buells a little reading will reveal that in many ways it stands out as a very different kind of bike. The fuel is in the frame and the oil is in the swing arm. It's air cooled and meets the most stringent exhaust regulations without a catalytic converter. Oh, and did I mention it sounds like a monster (and I don't mean the kind made by Ducati)?
