(I'm feeling

)
Someone please tell me why the hell I’ve been sitting here for the last 40 minutes waiting for this freshman boy to text me back. First of all, he’s a freshman. Second of all, he already has a girlfriend (even though with the stuff he says to me you wouldn’t think he does). He’s a cutie though and I can’t get him off my mind! I’m sitting at my desk and I left my phone on my bed so I wouldn’t be staring at it waiting for him to text back, but now I keep looking at my bed every minute. Ahhhhh, I need help.
A senior at my school died Tuesday night in a car accident. I wasn’t friends with her. I actually didn’t even know who she was. It still kind of affects me though because I have friends who knew her and what not. Apparently she was driving late at night in the dark and was going 60mph around this road that makes an S-curve. She was obviously going to fast to make the turn and hit a boulder. Her car split in two pieces and after hitting the boulder, she hit a tree. She died instantly..
There’s a wall by the cafeteria in my school where everyone wrote things about her and stuff. I think it’s nice, but it’s also just a huge reminder of how she’s not with us anymore.. it’s sad.
I just took my phone off my bed and it’s by me on the desk now. I’m ridiculous. Wowww. Bye now.
Edit- 10/10/08 I was walking in the halls with the kid (:D) and he explained why he didn't text me so it's all good. Then he gave me a big hugggg and it made my day. Where's my heart of stone when I need it the most?!

A lot of kids from my high school died too. It happens. But i think these days people go overboard with their memorials and vigils and junk. Especially students who never even knew the kid.
Just remember, a guy playing you is one thing... but his pissed off psycho girlfriend is a whole other ball game. :)

I lost a good friend to a car accident. She was pulling out of the parking lot at school and someone ran into her. Tragic. You're not ridiculous about the phone thing. Sounds pretty normal to me. :)

When I was in high school, a student at the school died in a motorcycle accident. I think he was a senior. It was really sobering for everyone. All we kids had just assumed that our whole lives were ahead of us.
Then in college, a guy in my dorm died in a freak acciednt one afternoon. He was horsing around, sitting on the back of a moving vehicle, and he fell off and hit his head. He was dead the next day. That shook me up, because I witnessed the aftermath of the accident. I had just played baseball with him and a bunch of other people a couple of hours earlier. You never know, you just never know when the end will come.
Please be careful out there, Jane (and everyone reading this). <3

Makes sense. Looking to feel alive,I would guess. What better way than striking up a "conversation" with someone that you are attracted to.
I guess we do all have different reactions to death.

A kid who sat in front of me in my 10th grade government class was hit by a drunk driver who ran a stop sign going 80 mph. Same situation...I didn't know him well either, besides having a couple classes with him over the years. But I know how you feel. Kind of like sad when you feel you don't have the right to be. But you do. anyways lawwwd knows I've been through the hangup over guys who aren't worth it. lol.
