About subscribing
(I'm feeling blank)
This is a blog that I don't really expect alot of people to read or comment on but hey I mean I do this stuff more as a way to get things off of my mind than for them to be read. This blog is about subscribing and subscriptions and these are things that bother me. Let me by telling everyone that YOUR SUBSCRIBER COUNT does not matter. What truly matters is how many of those subbers actually watch ur videos, and if they find ur video interesting if they leave comments or favorite it, but that doesn't really matter either. Videos made sticly for views lack quality.
Subscribing to someone's channel just for the hope of the subscribing back is a dumb idea. Most likely they won't unless they stop by ur channel and like your content. It's really about the content. You should only sub to a person who's videos you like and someone who's content you find enjoyable. I am subbed to quite a few people alot of them don't make videos anymore. But when they did I enjoyed their content hence my intial subscription. I'm going to go through a process of cleaning out my subscription list soon anyway for all of the accounts that don't make videos or haven't made videos since I have subbed to them. But back to the point I am subbed to alot of people and it doesn't mean I watch all their videos, there are times when i cannot catch up on certain users that normally produce videos and that's no problem either. As long as u view the channels that you are subbed to that's not an issue.
This brings me to another point, people subscribing to your channel. NUMBERS DO NOT MATTER, please do me a favor, look at ur subscriber count, then look at your videos from the past 3 months, do your numbers reflect a good portion of subscribers you have? I'm far from getting featured, i have about 100 subscribers to my videos currently and on average my videos may get about between 40-70-ish views, I see that as a good number because I know people, whether subscribed to my channel or not are watching my videos. I'm not complaining about that. I mean it just cracks me up when people have like a thousand something subs and like their views barely hit 50. The point being is subs don't matter, if you are here on this site to make videos because u enjoy making them and entertaining, you shouldn't complain about your views. Personally I'd be happy even if I didn't get any views because I make my videos for me and I can look back at how I grow artistically through film much as I do through drawing and photography. Like how my art twin wanted me to get a youtube for more views and I said no because I like this site and it's not about the views. I'm subbed to people who make videos that barely get 30 views and there are never any comments, but they constantly make videos. Why? It's something they like to do, and the film makers I'm talking about usually do gameplay footage for a game called mugen. but they constantly make videos.Just some food for thought
