This is Tony’s 2nd CD, which gives you more of that smooth melodic style as his 1st CD "A Quiet Time", but with a bit more edge. The new compositions range from the funky, "Drop Top” to the Latin laced "Those Eyes".

Tony’s ability to deliver a smooth but funky sound is evident on this new project and definitely provides something fresh and new. You will discover that every song possesses it’s own spirit and energy .

The combination of his pillow soft vocals with his woodwinds on several tunes makes for a very sensual sound. This musicians "Chill Cafe" style is reminiscent of Paul Hardcastle, Saint Germaine and Exodus Quartet.

One word to describe Tony Wynn's music would be "Smooooth" . Tony has put together a variety of hypnotic and soulful selections that evoke a feeling of calm and well being. These songs have just enough thump to keep your head nodding and just enough sweetness to keep you satisfied. Tony's performances on tenor, alto and soprano saxophones as well as the flute and electronic wind instrument demonstrates his unique ability to create a tapestry of melodic colors. Tony describes his music as a spiritual groove music that ministers to that emotional and universal place within all of us.

My own personal favorite, and the song that got me turned on to Tony's music is "That First Kiss". The first time I heard this song, I had to call the radio station to find out who I was listening to. Little did I know that Tony would be playing in my area in the next 3 weeks and I was sure to make plans to see him. That was a little over 2 years ago and since that day, I have attended most of Tony's shows, photographing and videotaping his shows, as well as doing some creative work for him. I can't think of a better profession than to be working side by side with such a talented artist, listening to the music I love while I work.

Tony has shared the stage with well known singers and music artists such as Isaac Hayes, Kem, Micheal Buble',Rechelle Ferrell, pianist Kim Pensyl, percussionist Steve Reid, saxophonist Jeff Kashiwa, Paul Howards and guitarist Nathan Page.

Despite his influences by legendary horn players such as John Coltrane, Wayne Shorter, Stanley Turrentine, Gato Barbieri and Grover Washington, Tony has managed to find his own voice and applied it to the smooth Jazz format.
