America And Guns
So everyone must of heard about another recent shooting in an American University, My Heart Goes Out To The Families Of These Tragic Events.
But it seems like America loves there guns, i know its easier to criticize then it is to help the problem but just putting my views across.
I know that some think it is in the constitution to "bare arms" and that Americans have the "right" to own a weapon, but i still don't see why you would need one.
Ok maybe its to protect yourself, but from who? fellow Americans?
I don't have a problem with people owning guns i guess, just i don't wanna be on the wrong side of them
So why in an increasingly paranoid nation do they give people the right to have guns, seems kind of silly to me
just like in the UK when people can get knifes and apparently the worst estimate for knife crime in the UK is 60,000 people a year that have been injured or killed by knife crime
So i hope it isn't just me that sees that America should cut down on there weapons, for the sake of fellow Americans and to help prevent shootings like this
I'm not saying this tragic event wouldn't of happened if guns where banned, because if really determined could get one at any cost, I'm just saying it makes it a bit more inconvenient then having a gun under you bed for the day your feeling that life is a bit shit and you wish you could kill everyone, oh wait you can cause you have a gun.
