About Mr Shiraz
Mr Shiraz have come to change the face of music. This newly revamped five piece have been trekking across the globe sharing their unique blend of influences and styles to the eagerly awaiting masses.

Hailing from Huddersfield, UK Mr Shiraz formed in 2000 have been playing relentlessly to a wide variety of audiences. In 2001 Mr Shiraz were heralded the Mean Fiddler/Future Sound 2001 Champions for the illustrious Carling Festival. They were asked back in 2005 to play to a packed enthusiastic crowd.

This snowballing effect allowed the band to sign a contract with Triumphant Sound (formerly 10 Past 12 Records) which allowed their debut CD "I’m Invincible! I’m Built like a Sherman Tank, Somebody Try and Stop Me" to be sold in shops and online world wide.

Whilst creating a massively devoted fan base, major UK (and worldwide) magazines Kerrang! and Big Cheese took notice of their impressive live show and both featured articles on the band. Shortly after the articles were printed Mr Shiraz were back on the road with their seemingly never-ending tour schedule.

Their ever growing following led them in March of 2007 signing on as the premier client of M.I.A. Management based in the United States. This opportunity allowed for Mr Shiraz to trek over the Atlantic and go on a three-week South and West tour (ranging from Louisiana to Washington). Along the way on the road playing to enthusiastic crowds and increasing their faithful, Shiraz were offered a spot on the 2008 South By South West Music Festival held annually in Austin, TX as well as a three night engagement in Seattle, Washington. These events have spurred new record label negotiations. On their journeys, Mr Shiraz also hooked up with the Long Beach, CA based band Intro5pect who are slated to record the highly-anticipated follow up CD to "Sherman Tank" early in 2008.

With the rest of the year filling up and spilling over into early 2008, Mr Shiraz have much to look forward to.

Mr Shiraz have supported the likes of: Zebrahead, Reel Big Fish, Alkaline Trio, Skindred, Flogging Molly, Lightyear, Therapy?, Pie Tasters, The Toasters, King Prawn, The Slackers, Voodoo Glow Skulls, Big D & The Kids Table, MU330, 4ft Fingers, Vanilla Pod, Starpool, Union 13 and Jesse James and many more.
