Changing gears

(I'm feeling amused)

It's been more than a month since I put up a new video, and the delay's due to the difficulty I've been having with my current project. There are several gaps in the video I have no idea- yet- how to fill. I was wondering if to put it aside for a while and work on another vid- I've been having some good ideas for new ones.

Did you ever notice that many revelations come to you in the oddest of circumstances? Well, this one came to me in the bathroom. Weird, but that seems to happen to me a lot. Anyway, it was while I was in there that I started reminiscing on some of the cartoons I watched while a child: and it came to me in stunning clarity that Avatar is very similar in a lot of ways to one of them. I'll be distracting myself creating a new vid to this realisation. Not sure what I'll call it: but the name always comes, sooner or later.

Sometimes, it's good to go back and reflect on how it all started: the early days of my love of animated shows. One of these days, I'll do a tribute to the company that exploded that liking to an obsession: Disney. But, for now, I'm working on the aforementioned vid.
