Craig David Won Second Place in "Best Album Ever Contest" But Storm Shea Boycotts MTV for First Place
(I'm feeling aggravated)

This blog is much easier to read and has more videos to see: (14 in all) on my blog on myspace. I can't get my blog here to add color or paragraph breaks anymore, so if you want to take a minute and view that blog, it is much easier to read blogs and much different content, including book reviews, letters to the President, and my feelings on a host of topics that are not here. It is at http://www.myspace.com/StormyShea_1/blog If MTV had any morals at all, they would declare that Craig David's reputation and number of albums and fans who voted for Craig David out of the top 100 albums in their contest all the music sold qualifies the most brilliant and astonishing singer in decades to win first place. Introducing Craig David! Craig David recently won second place in "The Best Album Ever Contest" by MTV. His "Born to Do It" album came in second to "Thriller" by Michael Jackson. I'd say that is big news. Also, he's started his US tour "Club Mint" in Los Angeles, but last time I checked his April 14th concert there was sold out within hours of going on sale. He has several platinum albums already and is so big in Europe that when you check out any of his videos on youtube, you almost always find anywhere from 1,000 to 3,000,000 hits on them. His voice and vocal range surpasses anyone in the world who is has an ear for music. His tantalizing and quirky upbeat changes he made to David Bowie's, "Let's Dance," was a hit again, making his voice and style known world wide ... in Europe, Japan, Russia, Spain, Asia and everywhere in the world. Craig David is the hottest, most romantic, upbeat, sexy, .... absolutely fantastic singer, who not only sings in every popular genre, including soul, R&B, regga, hip-hop, pop, and rapping, About Craig David ... JUST LISTEN FOR CRAIG DAVID

His songs -- on the long list of his "number one" hits -- knows that his voice is nothing short of sublime. His varying rhythms and rhymes astonish the elite crowds of academy award winning actors and musicians who make up his audiences, not only in every other country in the world, but also here in the United States where he is usually the guest star, performing for banquet dinners for top celebrities. In fact, you could say that Britain-born, Craig David, is the entertainer's entertainer, someone with a remarkable past who hasn't really even toured the United States ... and has still managed to fillenough concert halls and sold the most albums ever in every other country in the world. Here is part of his bio on his webite that I think you should read: "Born Craig Ashley David on May 5, 1981, David was slicing and dicing ragga and R&B on the local station PCRS 106.5FM and found himself playing club gigs prior to rubbing elbows with some of music's finest. It was during this time he hooked with Artful Dodger's Mark Hill. After winning a national writing competition, Craig was more than ready to start producing with Hill. His big break came when he put his own additives on Damage's "I'm Ready," a B-side to "Wonderful Tonight." Soon thereafter he remixed his own version of Human League's "Human" and started himself a regular spot in area clubs during the weekends. "Rewind" was another underground smash, specifically a definitive move for David. His respect for Stevie Wonder, Faith Evans, and R. Kelly was most apparent, however his own vocal talent was beginning to shine. He and Hill's specialty show on Capital Radio provided another outlet for David to shape his musical work of genius. "Fill Me In" proved yet another hit, shooting straight to number one in summer 2000. David was now the youngest British male solo artist to have a number one single. He was 19-years-old." His audiences are completely enthralled and are hypnotized in a frozen trance as he effectively sings with his voice fluctuating in his personal style of varying his soft vocal ranges unlike most singers who cannot sing like that with perfectly pitched tantalizing songs, ones that are are fresh, sexy and a little spicy. I've seen performances where he was absolutely spellbinding as the guest star in places like the Oscars, or once at a 9/11 Benefit full of famous celebrities where his version of John Lennon's, "Come Together" floored everyone there as they watched this young European sensation, whose personality and sublime vocal sounds demands attention and respect from even the most talented musicians and actors who filled the audience, all of whom were famous faces like Steven Spielburg, Melanie Griffith, Beyonce, U2 -- and everybody else in the entertainment industry. No matter whether you are simply listening to one of his several platinum albums or watching him perform live, his sounds have the Craig David "stamp of excellence" on them, sung so uniquely as only "Craig David" can do on any of his several platinum albums, and his albums have exceeded multi-millions. Aside from having such a beautiful and talented voice, this handsome and sexy young man is also a brilliant song writer who coordinates and uses his musical genius to take into account whether or not a song's lyrics are using iambic meters or couplets, whether or not the lyrics are dark or light, whether or his combinations of lyrics and melodies combine in any of the Craig David genres, and whether or not all of these details express the emotions he is tying to get across. In fact, this humble, yet energetic overnight sensation was recently awarded an honorary doctorate degree from a prestigious university of the arts where only the best students from around the world are accepted. You can view the video of his graduation here. It's very "enlightening" and a bit funny, to say the least. So besides, just rubbing elbows with the most famous artists who saw his musical excellence -- this gifted musician has grabbed the attention of the music departments of universities, where he speaks to students about the complexities that go into his music and lyrics. So, his hard work and knowledge that most people don't realize come from his constant study and learning that he devotes his life to by honing in on the very depth of his craft. In addition to the universities, likewise, I think it is this genius that other musical geniuses realized when he began spinning records ... and just singing once in awhile in the European underground clubs like "The Garage."He was always a great writer with awards and hard work and writing skills alone. Everywhere Craig David performs a concert, they are sold out in hours! Love and Peace Stormy Shea Here is another website of Craig David's where you can probably get free ring-tones as you can on the many other websites that offer free MP3 and ringtone downloads, which I would do if I had a cell phone! http://www.craigdavid.com This is his blog site here on livevideo: http://www.livevideo.com/CraigDavid/ Also, you can get him to come to your state if you spread the word! And I have just the widget for you to use. So, if you love Craig David's music as much as I do, please post the folloing widget on your own web-page. All you have to do is click on it -- and then get the codes for your town to paste it in your websites. It has codes to share with every website and email to all of your friends to see and click, or get their own alerts or news about Craig David (and other musicians too). http://www.livevideo.com/video/CraigDavid/401420956A6F47C593A0CA8CCE52CDA4/craig-david.aspx
