Defining the LV social caste... through my lenses.

OK... so after over a year, I still find myself befuddled by the different social classes as defined by the LV system and people's derived expectations.

For instance, you have friends, subscribers, crews, and now groups. Cool... it's good to be able to relate to and interact with people on different levels. What I'm curious about is, what the commmunity at large feels defines these different account 'classifications'.

What is an LV friend?

Through my lenses, an LV friend is more of what I would refer to as an associate, or casual acquaintance, in real life. No offense... but if the last time we've talked was when we swapped friend invites, well... need I say more?

What is an LV subscriber?

Becoming a subscriber is somewhat of an indicator as to where your head is at - no pun intended. Although if your intent is to simply have me subscribe in return for numbers, count me out. If your content warrants it, I certainly will. However, as much as I'd like to, I couldn't possibly reciprocate with everyone's channels.

What is an LV crew member?

To me, a crew member is someone who not only melds the above two, but decides that further collaboration is imminent - either by allowing vids to be posted or cross-posted, working on video projects jointly, etc. Some have seemingly taken offense to this - I thought it was a given - silly me.

What is an LV group?

Still trying to figure that out - get back to you with my findings as soon as they're found.

Am I way off base on these previously undisclosed, unvoiced expectations?

You are of course assuming a certain level of maturity... Goodness knows some people who are immature, mostly younger in age, feel that if you haven't been in their room in a few weeks or talked to them recently you are not a friend. I agree with your assessment and recognize we all use our own lenses of reality. Keep up the good work, I especially like anything to do with water powered technology, Tesla had viable free electrical energy technology 100 years ago. Free to near free energy would change the power structure of the world to such a dramatic extent that the investment class of people, our modern day feudal lords, will stop at nothing to prevent this from becoming a mainstream reality. Just my 2 cents...
