(I'm feeling predatory)

Power is a gun in the palm of my hand.
Power is the impulse in my nerves that calls on a pallid fingertip to pull the trigger.
Power is the recoil on a steady hand as a steel hornet bursts from the tip of a smoky barrel.
Power is the monstrous bang and a metallic clang of steel hornet on direct target.
Power is a bullseye.

Monsters. Oh, how the monsters will rise.

How six seven eight whispers clambor up my spinal cord!
How ten eleve twelve times I muffle a scream!
Take over my mind and encapsulate my soul.
I find comfort in the desparation...

Oh, how I wish they'd make a monster out of me too.

Take all that's left of me just one last time.
Then I'll walk away and collide with the stars and sun and fiery hell...
Just for the sake of saying I could.

There will be devastation.
We will make sure of it.
