Subject: Kicked.
Even kicked out of the room I stand by my position. If existing features do not work it's a bad idea to implement new ones.
Brad, you know, one can't help but wonder if the current problems are a product of a bad economy, or out of touch employees but I am willing to bet it is the later.
In the age of angst you can't just throw money at a problem and assume it will go away, you must shift the entire focus, be inclusive instead of divisive, and set the path clearly showing where you are going, how you are going to get there, and who is behind you.
LiveVideo.com is horribly mismanaged. Have you, or anyone, taken the time to look at the numbers? You're the owner of the only site to ever offer a serious challenge and alternative to YouTube and at this point that's been totally peddled away.
You've added new features and the user base declined. You paid entertainers and the user base declined, you bought sister sites like pageflakes and revver, and the user base declined.
Doesn't this strike you as a problem?
What are you going to do? Are you willing to move, or are you just hoping throwing more money into a pit will accomplish something?
It hasn't worked yet.
