Esperanto...
(I'm feeling calm)
I may or may not have mentioned this before, but a couple years ago I developed an interest in the language called Esperanto, which was created by Ludvic Zamenhof in the mid 1800's and intended as an international language. It has logical, consistent grammar rules, and is very easy to learn, and I also find it to be a beautiful language. as an example of esperanto, I will translate the phrase, "I am a spiritualist": mi estas spiritiston (the "n" at the end of the last word marks it as the object of the sentence when there are no prepositions before it). the esperanto word for peace is "paco" (pronounced "pahts-oh"), and the esperanto word for peaceful is "paca" (-a is the adjective ending). to say, "I love you", you would say "mi amas vin"; to say, I'm reading my book, you would say "mi legas mian libron". anyway, it is a language that I hope will become the established international auxilliary language some day, and I will continue to learn it.
peace be with you (paco estu kun vi).
-jason.
