Evolution, Another Theory
(I'm feeling contemplative)

Out of the many books that I have read, I manage to glean and store to memory what information pertained to the Theory of Evolution. I recall fables, myths, and legends of cultures and ancient civilizations. I am aware of the ancient bones of Lucy and The Peking Man. I read enough of Charles Darwin’s book, “Origin of the Species,” to know the answers to my query on Evolution were not there. I do not ignore, but I decided to skip all these biological and paleontology information and went to the beginning of life forms.

According to scientists, life is the result of microorganisms derived from the composition of atomic elements as amino acid, carbon, hydrogen, etcetera, which are the basic building blocks of life. This cosmic dust of elements and everything else in the Universe is the result of a Big Bang. Then, I wanted to know what cause, “The Big Bang,” if there was nothing before it? It is common knowledge something cannot be produce from nothing. Therefore, I concluded, the current theory of Evolution by itself was not the answer to my quest.

To continue my search, I decided to examine both theories of Creation and Evolution. It occurred to me, my goal must be some where in these two theories, which men have contaminated with their imperfection. My intentions were to sort-out any misinterpretations or exaggerations and find any links between them. Also relevant, is that bibles of various denominations have inconsistencies in their translation or publishing. These human flaws are also present in encyclopedias and science documents.

I revise my search and broaden my focus. I deduced that if nothing was all there was in the beginning, and only God can make something out of nothing. Therefore, God created the Universe and now, there is everything for Evolution to proceed. I read in a biography of Sir Isaac Newton that he believes the spirit is the center of the Universe, and that everything expanded from this nucleus. I too, believe the spirit is the nucleus, because nothing, cannot create even the smallest part of an atom.

In the theory of Creation, God created the Universe, Earth and life in the first chapter of Genesis. The Bible does not give many details of this creation, and that leaves us to our presumptions. People presumed their awaited Messiah would come as a Royal King, and instead they got a humble man riding a colt of a donkey.

To condense my blog I will only offer two examples:
#1, God said let there be light. To which people presume the Sun burst into existence. What if the world was just conceal? Consider the planets covered with thick clouds that sunlight cannot penetrate.
#2, God created the waters and divided the seas so the land would appear and he called the land Earth. Again, people presume the World popped into existence. The idea of Continental Drift is the belief of the movements of the continents, however insignificant this movement, the earth is not the same as it was yesterday. It is also believe by some geologists that continents were once one giant continent Pangaea.

In studying these two theories, I found more questions than answers. I have notice the inconsistencies of bibles of different denominations, and am aware of some of the unlikely interpretations of their clergy. In science, I have observed the competitive nature of scientists, how they are constantly correcting, upgrading and improving their fields of knowledge. I am grateful for the work and sacrifices these people have made in both of these schools of thought. I have no intentions of edifying myself, or in having access to some privilege knowledge than these scholars. However, in concluding my task, I have conjured an idea of my own, derived from these two theories.

The origin of Life;
This is my theory, my sole opinion constructed of information, as I perceive it.
When God created the Universe, I suspect the elements (the building blocks of life) were encoded with DNA formulas. Some of these formulas would activate under the right conditions as atmospheric pressure, geological environment, sunlight, water, gravity and magnetic forces. In our modern world, I compare this idea with rain falling on a desert after a few hundreds years of drought and exposing dirt to sunlight and moisture after a long concealment. I have learned how the miracle of life awakes in both of these scenarios. I understand the ground impregnated with seeds and eggs for extreme lengths of time and this could be the case with these two scenes. However, I believe these metamorphoses are not the only transformations occurring in the resurrected desert. After the rainfall, in a short time the desert is teaming with a wide variety of life forms, too many to be just the survivors of the sun baked sands. Then, there are the remote islands teaming with indigenes wildlife, even if the life forms accidentally immigrated to these regions, the basic or bottom tiers of the food chain must of have been there to attract and sustain these visitors. In conjunction with evolution process, these scenarios share a common denominator that is fundamental to initiate life.

The encoded building blocks; the gases, acids and minerals that spew out of the fissures and vents on the bottom of the Pacific Ocean. These elements nourish the microorganisms and then carried by the ocean currents, in particularly El Niño that flows to the western shore of South America and the Galapagos Islands. This phenomenon occurs in the oceans and in the parts of the world with geothermal activity. The phenomenal events are numerous and vary in nature, the aftermath of a fire, a decaying corpse or vegetation will nourish the microorganisms that fuel the evolution of the next generation of life forms.

The cosmic dust of encoded elements is the building blocks of life, “From dust we come and to dust we will return.” (Genesis 3:19) I suspect the encoded formula changes life forms as the Earth progresses in evolution. As the conditions of world’s ecology changes in the evolution timeline, old species will extinct and be replace by new species.

The origin of mankind;
Again, this is my theory, my sole opinion of what I have read of these two theories. I do not intend to discredit scholars, or make changes in Holy Doctrine. My theory is to satisfy my childhood curiosity and to stimulate interest in these two fields of knowledge.

It is inconceivable for me to imagine that humankind is the offshoot of an ape. I have read numerous documentations of prehistoric man, and I have yet to see some solid evidence. A few pieces of distorted bones, calculated dating with an instrument and technology less than perfect is not something I would recognize as evidence. In the analyses and comparisons of the DNA of man and chimpanzee, the experts show us what they want us to see, according to their special interest. I have never seen a list of DNA analyses for me to make comparisons between species. I have heard from an expert, the difference in DNA between a one-pound Chihuahua dog and a ninety pounds Great Dane is insignificantly minute. He also stated the difference in DNA does not have to be significant in one species to another, considering the millions of species in the world.

God creates man in the first chapter of Genesis and in the second chapter, Adam from clay. I am aware of how in the Scriptures there are obscured messages in parables and comparative stories. I have noticed the many ways to interpret and misinterpret these messages. However, for lack of details in the creation of man, I have to use the sciences of Evolution to interpret this occurrence, if only for my satisfaction. I believe it is proper to use Creation to explain Evolution and vise versa. Humanity creation was in the same process as all living beings, from the cosmic dust of elements, (clay is dust and moister). In this evolution process, certain elements would bond together trigger by exterior forces as sunlight, gravity and magnetic forces at a prescribe time to form various microorganisms. By the creation of man, the elements formula for creating life forms had become a Cycle of Life. As millenniums passed, this life cycle would end some species and replenish the world with new ones, according to global changes and its new environments. Some species would overlap these eras of change, according to their adaptability.

I believe Mankind has never had a predecessor, regardless of the many distorted bones found. Humans are vulnerable beings without their knowledge and technologies. People could not have survived the hostilities of a prehistoric world, and a different world with an inhospitable ecosystem, climatology, geology and even atmosphere. Humanity had to complete its beginning in a safe and stable environment, as suggested in the Garden of Eden scenario. Man cannot live in another era, no more than a Wooly Mammoth could live in our present ecosystem. There is a reason why prehistoric animal extinct and I cannot believe an asteroid hit the Earth every time there was a mass extinction.

In the first chapter of Genesis, I read that God creates the creatures of the seas and fowls of the air (open firmament) on the fifth day of Creation and on the sixth day, the beasts of the land, cattle, (domestic animals) herbs, fruits and man. I believe this to be true, but I cannot ignore the many bones and fossils of prehistoric animals. There must be a connection between these two beliefs, and I will try to bridge them together to achieve a comprehensive scenario.

When God created man, his Cycle of Life formulas had been producing life forms in life spans according to the ecosystems of a changing world. At a prescribe time, in an environment suitable for current species of animals and man, the fifth and sixth day of Creation occurred. The Creation of a world we know, the present Earth of Humankind. Notwithstanding, the Cycle of Life is still in effect, deleting life forms and replacing them, some having longer life span than other, some species nearing the end of their life span, and microorganisms evolving to the creatures of tomorrow’s ecosystem.

In Charles Darwin’s theory, the Origin of the Species where he suggests, all species are link in a pyramid pattern and can be trace back in history to the original single cell life form. Some experts believe that fowls are the descendents of dinosaurs, because of some similar characteristics. In comparison, man derived from an ape and I wondered why the descendent and the ancestor are living in the same era? In addition, his theory of Natural Selection, he asserts that Nature effect the evolution changes of animals needing to adapt to new habitats. He points out turtles that Evolution has changed the configuration of their shells to adapt to the different food chains in the islands, and changing the color of birds’ feathers and the form of their beaks to adapt to new ecosystem. I cannot believe the Evolution process effects these biological changes. I have learned some reptiles can lose and replace their tails, insects and sea creatures lose and replace their limbs. There are animals that can even change their gender. Some creatures are endowed with these special traits, as a man is with a thought processing brain.

There are many inconsistencies in the Evolution theory of Darwin, but the science of Nature and all its mysteries is still relevant in my life. I believe in the Holy Scriptures, but I recognize they are not immune to the deficiency of men. I purposely omitted information of Adam and Eve, perhaps someday I will write a blog on my interpretation of Creation and Christianity.
