few things here...

(I'm feeling sore)

first things first.. if you think you have left enough braking distance, leave more because you probably more... sliding and landing on your shoulder hurts. good thing i'm built like the proverbial shit brick outhouse and was wearing armor and had kevlar on my knees or things would have been a more worse..
pedestrians, please don't start walking in front of vehicles that are coming towards you.. yes, i know you have the right of way, but pain fucking sucks and it's not always possible to stop safely. i stopped with lots of distance between myself and the truck but the front tire skidded and bike went down.. i went one way, the bike went another..

gay marriage.. i think it's a good thing.. i have no interest in marriage for myself, but it is not my place, nor is it anyone else's place in life to distact what is love. yes yes, there are financial aspects to it all, and social aspects, but at the end of the day, it's love.. get over yourselves.
if you can't get over the fact that some people are just going to love one another, i dunno... i'm not religious, but i can't believe that jesus sat down with anyone and said "love everyone 'cept those people over there. you know.. those fags. " I was under the impression that jesus had said "love everyone. ".
get over yourselves.. you're not that special, and i'm pretty sure you're not going to the so called heaven, by condeming anyone or beating or telling anyone that they are bad or unclean or or anything other than human.
the best and wisest thing i have ever done in my life was making the realizaion that sleeping in on Sundays was a good thing, and just being good for the sake of feeling nice about good, and not the fear of hell. that was in something like in 6th grade or so..
if you can't be good just for the sake of being nice, just die already and save the rest of us the resouces we we need to carry on living in a happy and a relatively chill environment . :)
