Field of Love

(I'm feeling lonely)

There are three categories of love: family love, brotherly love, and romantic love. When it comes to romance, the feelings that two (or even more) people have for each other are real. That’s just a fact. However, concepts such as true love and star-crossed lovers are bullshit. First off, there is no objective definition of true love. Everybody has their own definition of what true love is, including me. As for the concept of star-crossed lovers goes, that’s just a fantasy and nothing more. Let’s put it this way, people need to stop feeding me bullshit such as “there’s somebody out there for everybody” and “you’ll find someone….someday”.

I really hate it when people tell me things such as “there’s somebody out there for everybody” and “you’ll find someone….someday”. First off, there isn’t somebody out there for everybody. Some people will spend most of their lives being single and never experiencing love… well…not “true” love at least. Also, when people tell me that I’ll find someone, how the fuck do they know that? Seriously!

When it comes to all three categories of love, it’s all conditional. Even the love that your parents have for you is conditional and vice versa. Every parent and person in general has a certain line that once you cross, that person in your life will stop loving you. It’s just that some lines are farther away than others. If you still don’t understand what I’m trying to say here, well think of love as a field. Everyone has a field of love. Once you leave that field, that in your life person will stop loving you. Some people’s fields of love are just bigger than others.

So in conclusion, love doesn’t conquer all boundaries, it has boundaries.
