(I'm feeling annoyed)

As you may or may not know, Ringo got into some corrupt business ethics and pissed off everyone. So they were forced out of business.

So I had to find another photo hosting site. Blah. I miss the days of being able to host all my own stuff. But those days are gone for ever so no point in dwelling on it.

Anyways.. I didn't want to use Photobucket, because to be perfectly honest, I view Photobucket as the ghetto of photo sharing sites. They just never seemed like a legit place to put real photos. Just stupid little pictures to hotlink from a MySpace profile.

The only other place I knew of was flickr.

So I finally create an account.

First thing I notice is they offer paid accounts. Great. That means the free account is going to be limited.

Second thing I notice is you can only upload 100megs each month. ok. That sucks when just starting out, but manageable.

Then I start adding pics. Their up loader program kinda sucks. It has issues. I do my best to work around them. I start adding 'sets', or photo albums. Add my first one. "Just Me". Add another one, "Screenshots - MySpace".. And another "My Kitty". Then I go to add another one for my Photoshop artwork. The "Add Set" button isn't there.

I poke around the site looking for information.

Free accounts have a limit of 3 sets.

What the fucking hell?

I look at the cost for a "Pro" account. $24.95 per month.

$25 a month to host some stupid fucking pictures no one gives a shit about???

Are these people out of their fucking minds or what?

The free account sucks hairy testicles. And it's not worth it to pay for a "Pro" account. Would be better to just get a web hosting account someone and make my own fucking website for my stuff.

So if you seen my previous bulletin about me having a Flickr account, ignore it. I don't think I'm going to upload all my pics to it. Just a few.

Maybe I should consider using my LifeVideo or *gag* MySpace photo areas. *sigh* I hate the Internet. Nothing but greedy corporate whores. No real value in it anymore.
