I can't understand something....
(I'm feeling confused)

I can't understand for the life of me why some people feel they have the right to tell two people who are in love that they cannot be united. Recently the City of Pittsburgh council proposed a bill recognizing civil unions between same sex partners. The local newspaper ran a poll to find out peoples reaction to the bill. After the poll came out that 86 percent of the people strongly opposed the bill it was quietly tabled. The newspaper attributed the negative reaction to the graying population in Pittsburgh. Obviously as our population gets increasingly older in Pittsburgh it isn't getting increasingly wiser.  Wes

Love comes naturally as does sexual attraction. Too bad the law makes it hard for a "commitment" to another person a bad thing. Gay marriage serves as a great example for people who usually have the idea that gays are overly sexually promiscuous, which isn't always the case. And, anyone who takes care, loves and stays with one partner throughout his or her lifetime should be allowed the same protective laws as those afforded a legal spouse. Thanks for your post, Peace and Love, Stormy Shea

you know, i'm glad you posted this, b/c i feel the same way but with age. why is it viewed to be wrong if a 18 year old wants to marry someone 20 older than him/her. but it's ok for a 30 year old person to be with someone 20 years older than him/her. it's agrivating.

Well it goes like this. In the beginning there was Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve. Sodomy is a crime against nature and against civil laws, just as bestiality and child rape is for unlawful carnal knowledge. It is this way in every state of the union. Now what I don't understand is we have laws that are shelved for the benefit of a few that need medical treatment. With the exception of hermaphrodites, these other so called homosexuals are experiencing a chemical imbalance that can be rectified. Now if the conservatives in PA decided that they did not want to see a bunch hooting and hollering homosexuals flaunting themselves in the streets. Good for them. I have been to PA and there are many beautiful women there, on the flip side I am sure there are many handsome men for the women. Now you don't understand this but someone not long ago said you guys cling to your guns because you are not smart enough to do otherwise. I hope this answers your question.
