i'm afraid?

(I'm feeling faithful)

there are a lot of things that seemingly get into the way
but i know none of them are true.

i know what i want
but the things i'm afraid of poke holes in my thoughts

i know the truth
i have my logic
and i'm unafraid

i want things to be real
and the same things that motivate me
are also the things that hold me back
that make me fearful

but really,
i'm not afraid
i rest true in the truth.
