Your feelings are totally understandable, Jane. It's too bad she didn't call, because the two of you could have been a support for each other.

Sometimes people get so caught up in their own sorrows they don't even see how they are effecting people around them. You should tell her how you feel before shutting her out completely. Maybe she will see what she is doing and fix it and appologize. But perhaps she doesn't see anything wrong with what she's doing, in which case you have every right to shut her out and move on.

Sorry you have to deal with her BS. :(
