i’m in china now. its fun but its pretty chilly. the girls are cool and so far there are 115 of us...
yes that’s alot of girls ;o
its like 4am and im randomly up....straightening things ect
we have our preliminary evening gown competion today.
i think i have like 16 days left here....
china is interesting and its cool that the pageant is sponsored by the government...
ive been hanging out with usa (big surprise), and mostly the spanish candidates because i speak spanish and they r pretty fun to be around..
some people who dont know liberia is in africa thought it was a spanish country
yes u know they dont teach african geography everywhere...

The pageant is going well. Last night we had the evening gown preliminary contest. Miss Venezuela was crowned Best in Evening Gown. Her gown was a beautiful tan color with blue jewels. The girls are nice and we were given four sets of Miss Tourism Queen sweatpants to wear when we go on tours. The chinese are friendly and very eager to show us their beautiful country. Today we visited, one of the oldest buddist monastaries in the world. We even learned some of their martial art techniques. Tonight we will be going to a dinner event. I will write more soon.
