Life's Balance

(I'm feeling peaceful)

Life is a balance of holding on and letting go.

I read this the other day and I have been chewing on it in my mind ever since. I'm always looking for balance as it provides peace for me to accept both the good and bad of events and people, as nothing is all bad or all good.

I am, as most people are, prone to holding on to those that I cherish and holding on to grudges for those that have wronged me. I try to take a step back, think rationally, and gain perspective. I try to understand why I would want to hold on or let go and make a decision that puts me at peace. Sometimes I fight to keep it. Sometimes I realize it is best to let it go. I hope that with enough understanding I have this balance.
