(I'm feeling annoyed)

In general I would say the whole moderator idea is total crap.

What are the mods really good for? Making other moderators in a person’s channel? Well, why the heck can't the room operator do that? Its ridiculous to think they can't. If you're running a show, you might want to delegate moderator power to someone else. Why must they beg others (mods and admins) to help them accomplish this? Plus on top of that, if the person who you have modded has lost connection, they will return un-modded and the whole cycle starts over. No one from LiveVideo has explained why this function is not given to the LiveShow owner.

If its there to bust up rooms, well then maybe the Moderator should be anonymous to the room users so that when the room is shut down, there isn't a direct person to blame on the users side and have those actions recorded so they can later be contested to the admin.

Knowing all the "Factions" of livevideo, they (livevideo) should have expected that any kicking could be attributed to something other than actually doing something wrong.

And on top of that, I would agree with Mac on a point... Some mods are acting like they speak for LiveVideo... Instead of moderators speaking for LiveVideo, they should be speaking for themselves. Moderators do not actually know any more than the common users.

What about everyone else who thinks they should have been given moderator? There seemed to be an almost random choice of who would be Moderator and who wouldn't. It almost seems like it was some happy go lucky buddy thing. Were the right people chosen? And why were they thrust upon us?. There seems to be no sensible method used. Instead of just hiring people to do this who could really be held accountable. Oh yeah… I know that users are told that they may loose their status or even their accounts… but get real. They are not going to easily take the second action.

And to counter those who say… well the mods are not to blame… its that they were not given proper training on when to kick and ban. Bullcrap! People know what’s right and what’s wrong. You can’t use the excuse I “broke into someone’s home and shot the owner because I wasn’t trained how to use a gun” on me. We are all older than that. Lets not insult peoples intelligence.

Sorry Mort I disagree....Well someone has to.
Who would you prefer moderating? Some faceless moron their only interest is to get their wages at the end of the month, who doesnt give two hoots about the comunity and they are going to stick to the T.O.S. to the letter, because they dont knowthe people on here. Or somebody that you know, who you can talk to and will probably feel the same way as you about things. I know who I prefer.
Okay some of the mods are a bad choice. but I believe this will soon be sorted if ppl complain in the right way. I also believe that the mods should be paid.

LV should just hire neutral moderators and be done with this. It just sucks that good people who simply saw an opportunity to help out got caught up in all this negative shit. And that LV could interpret this as a lesson in NEVER giving up control to the community.

last week I was kicked from my own LiveTV twice because that super mod bitch does'nt like me for being friendly with "super mod" fucking mortal enemy here on LV
