Making Zombies
(I'm feeling artistic)

I use this game called "The Movies" to make "machinima" videos here and on Youtube. I'm about to do an update to two Zombie Flicks I put up about two years ago on Youtube: ZOMBIE FLICK part 1 (12,400 Views) and Zombie Flick 2: "The Fluke"(6,742 Views).

The basic game is a Sims-like thing where you run a Hollywood studio through the decades, and try to make award winning movies. 've never bothered with that aspect of the game, and just played in "sandbox" mode, which is straight movie making without the "tycoon" portion of the game.
At the time, the game was very limiting; you had very little control over the camera, and zero control over "actor" placement. I didn't know how to "mod" the game very well, but I first started experimenting with chroma key in those Flicks.

About a year later, the expansion pack, "Stunts & Effects" came out, which improved the game greatly. The major change was the ability to place the camera virtually anywhere on the "sets". I also began "modding" the costumes the actors wore, sets, etc. Recently, I've been wanting to update the Zombie Flicks, and make the long-awaited third part of the trilogy.

In the original movies, the zombies were wearing pristine costumes, with no blood or dirt on them. To make the new Flicks look better, I've been making zombie costumes and "makeups" full of blood, rips, etc. Here's a couple examples so far:
