Memorial Day weekend

(I'm feeling cheerful)

It seemed as if my entire world was in Las Vegas this last weekend! Notice I don't say whole world because the rest of the non Hollywood world is being bitch slapped by how expensive it is to go anywhere theses days! I hear ya people... Any who.. I feel Memorial day is important and should be observed...I'm just not sure I'm down with partying like a rock star in Vegas is the way to show respect for people that have lost their lives to protect our country.I also find it odd the people that don't really work use this weekend as an excuse to take a vacation...from what????! But hey that is just me and who the hell am I right? right! I really don't have a beef with people having a good time ...Just somethings seem funny to me. I have to remind myself what industry I work in and where I live. Myself I spent time with my family for most of the day and went to set to do a cameo for my buddies movie just a chill relaxing day on a football field. I even took Kobe He was the best 109 lb set dog ever :) As I sat between takes with my dog on the high school field I really felt thankful for all the things I get to do in this country that if I had been born some place else.. might not get to do. I've just been reading through all of your blogs, and your thoughts about needlessly hateful people make me like you even more. That's one of the things I don't understand about this and other blogging sites; that people feel the need to constantly fight with the other members in such a public fashion. While it may help them get a lot of views, it's childish B.S. in my opinion, and demeans both sides rather than proving some point. I come to this site to watch cool videos, and to talk to interesting people such as yourself, people who I otherwise would probably never come into contact with. That, to me, is the power of social networking, and where the fun lies. Anyway, sorry to rant, just wanted to tell you how much I agree with you.
