New Video
(I'm feeling exhausted)

I've got a new video up, depicting a recent trip I had out of town. I have to admit, the way I made it was inspired a little bit by Tree3's recent videos. I thought... I would LOVE to do a very well put together video like that. I used to do a lot of editing in my videos (as obvious with my very early ones), but I've grown used to the quick talking vlogs with minimal editing. I think both kind of videos have their place, and I just loved doing this new one the way I did. There's probably no way I can sustain that kind of thing on regular basis, so I'm sure I'll be back to posting some stupidly nutty thing before long.

Live Video doesn't seem so slow this time around, which is great, as I've got a lot of catching up to do.

Wow, thanks very much Brianne! I really appreciate that. :) I was just watching the clouds from the plane when I thought.... that looks really nice, why don't I shoot it? And I think it just started from there, seeing the clouds like that. I think I would really love to do more videos like that once in a while.

Gerry! I just watched the video and I have so much running through my mind.

For one, I love that you don't pigeon-hole yourself into making strictly "stupidly nutty" things. While your "stupid-nutty" side gives me great laughs, this reflective side of you also reaches me.

Secondly, I think your editing in this video is amazing -the perfect timing and perfect scenes, and of course, it goes without saying that it requires the perfect narration. Your description of your journey is really engaging.

I think that the video really reflects your talents as someone who makes comic books. It requires knowing what images to use, what dialogue/story to include, when to switch to a new event... you're very good at holding an audience's attention in all mediums!
