You don't expect your body to go into sick shutdown, it just does. Anything that was planned, any activity expected, anything can be sidelined.

You can try to fight through it, try to ignore it. But it will take over anyway.

As I end up saying, getting sick is nature's way of telling you to lay the hell down.
