Pacquiao's Two-rounder victory

Philippines' sensational boxer Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao created another headline after defeating the tough Ricky "Hitman" Hatton, a British boxing icon, in just two rounds of their 12-round match held at MGM grand Arena in Las Vegas yesterday, May 3, 2009. Ricky Hatton suffered slight injury after taking a strong left hook from Pacman which brought him down at 2 and 59 minutes of the second round. Prior to this, Hatton was downed twice in the first round after receiving strong hooks from the Pacman. The referee stopped the fight upon seeing that the British boxer can't get up anymore from the canvass.
Pacquiao, who hailed from Gen. Santos City in Mindanao, took his 6th title belt after winning this fight, where some well-known boxing analysts considered him as one the world's greatest boxer. With Pacquiao's arsenal of powerful left and right hook combinations, it is expected that there are more boxers who will suffer defeat from him....or some boxers might be hesitant to fight him anymore. Hurray for Pacquiao!!!......Hurray for the Philippines!!!
