I've tasted many experiences in my life
I've shared laughter and tears with friends I've made
I'm never alone, at least not mentally or emotionally
Regardless of how alone I feel most of the time.
I've stood by loved ones through their trials,
And they've stood by me through my own,
But nothing had prepared me for the last year,
I've reached my limit in so many areas of my life.
Never being one to stand helpless through hard times,
I took the bull by the horns and made drastic moves,
And though by all logical reasons this is the best move for the future,
I can't help but wonder to what end.
I've realized I forgot who I was,
I've realized I'm not sure who I want to be anymore,
I know that everything happens for a reason,
But I'm wondering what reasons have brought me here.
Unsure where to go,
Unsure where I want to be,
Knowing only that I'm much loved,
And the the options are endless.
But where shall I go,
What shall I do,
Who do I want to see when I look in the mirror?
Right now I have no clue
