questions of qualifications....
(I'm feeling quixotic)

i don't have a phd in anything.
i trust that i don't know the path to the end of my life and most of the time i am content with that..
what i am not content with is people who are no more educated than me, trying to convince me and others that they have a better opinion on something i probably have better experience with.

i also dont like my heartstring being played by people i do not know well enough to trust with anything more than a 1 dollar bill. it is less saddening and more annoying when people try to get me to feel for more something i patently do not give too rips about because i have myy own issues to deal with. just because i do not bring my personal life issues on here (or elsewhere) does not mean they do not exist.  i log on here and other sites to esape from issues that stack up along side me like long rusting stacking things.

some may call me a negative person, and be probably fairly close to the mark in that assement but they would be closer to call me irritated at that moment.  had they spent more time asking the right questions rather than leaping to conclusions, they would find that i am not negative and tend to find humor in more than i probably should.

it's been a shitty year so far for more than myself it would appear, what with monks being beaten to death for basically wanting to have their own piece of property and burma being more or less flattened by good old mother nature, then the military junta (isn't that just a cool word for "assholes"?) deciding that they want to be paranoid and not letting food and supplies in.  and let's not forget china, who i think pretty much got the swift hand of karma in the form of a 7.9 earthquake for being pretty shitty to kids (poison paint), monks,  the dalai lama, and any athelete who needs to breath the air.  yeah.. definitely instant karma..

so i do wonder..  what what qualifications do any of you have in passing judgement on people other than rough opinions based on a few words or comments? do you have a PHD in this?  i wonder about this because so many are worried about people finding about their IRL lives that how can anyone's opinion be anything more than that? an unfounded opinion?

that is, if i had a question about some medical issue and found that i was talking to a doctor with a couple decades of experience in pathology, i don't need or care to know where they live or work but it sure would help clear things up if i then found I was talking to a fry cook who got their info from wikipedia.
or if i wanted to ask a question about bikes, am i going to ask? someone who works at a shop and has been there for a while, or someone who just started riding?
