Reality

(I'm feeling geeky)

Look around…
What do you see?
Smiles and laughter
Or a world of gory like me?

Some people live under bridges or drains
Afraid of heavy water that can take them away
Others sleep wrapped in plastic on unfilled cemetery holes
Barely awaiting the rise of day!
Kids climb trees with a belt
To tie themselves up at night
While others fight for refuge
Praying to find that place that is always too tight and Never al right!

Hearing their stories
Starts breaking my heart
Knowing how they live…
Just tears me apart!

I start to wonder if a loving heart can change the world??
For filling one’s own desires is what I’ve heard!
Are we all already consumed with materialism??
No morality and egocentrism!
