People nowadays are quite familiar what is satellite, how it looks like and how it works. It was only yesterday when human had this faintest idea how important satellite especially in terms of communication.
We could trace up the roots of satellite when the Russians were able to develop and launched the first world’s satellite in October 4, 1957. They called this satellite Sputnik. The Americans were caught off guard when they knew this of course. After that, US successfully launched also their Explorer I in January of 1958. Eventually, many countries started to send off their own satellite in the space afterwards.
The next question human asked, what could satellite do to us? How can we utilize this to our advantage? Somewhere in 1963 the first communication satellite was born. The satellite was named Syncom II which was launched by group of businessmen and people from government.
First, it was only telephone providers who started to use satellite then; the cable company followed the trend as well. It was in 1978 when the satellite television first aired, this is done by the PBS or Public Broadcasting System through launching of Public Television Satellite System.
Thus, more and more broadcast networks took up satellite communication in the airing of their programs.
Since then, the satellite tv industry continue to grow. In US alone, many people preferred satellite tv because of its availability. Even if you live in rural areas, having a satellite TV you can still sure to receive a quality reception and nice channels to choose from. By just using your remote control you can order or demand for a pay-per-view movie or for a huge game between your favorite team. You have to sign up in a satellite tv company in other for you to have it. They will give you the equipment dish, receiver and other stuffs. But, of course, only if you pay a year subscription for them.
Furthermore, a new breakthrough has come in to satellite. You
can watch your favorite television channel right in your PC screen and lots of channels to choose from other countries. You don't need any satellite dish and other equipments compare to satellite TV. Some websites offer a great value for a subscription. That you don't need to pay for a monthly subscription like Satellite TV. You just need a software and good internet connection to view your favorite channels.
PC Satellite TV
is also cheaper compared to Satellite TV. And it also offer a much advanced technology compared to other one.
