Thanks for the tip , i will keep that addy saved just in case i need help in the future. What i finally ended up doing was totally restoring my system to factory defaults and then starting over, at first i thought that maybe i made a huge mistake but i was able to store & save most of my favorites ect.. on my external hard drive so it wasn't too bad and now everthing seems to be working well including my windows movie maker, but the real test will be when i begin to make my new slideshow lol, I'll have to let ya know, thanks again, Anthony :-)
