The little girl
(I'm feeling sad)

        I wrote this story........

A man is walking along from work on a snowy day in a blizzard. He sees something,or someone sitting in the cream colored snow and goes over to it. He dusts off the little girl and quickly asks her if shes okay. The girl doesnt answer so he checks her pulse and gives her his jacket. He grabs his phone and calls 911. At the hospital,a doctor came up to him and asked him how he found her. He told the doctor how he'd found her in the snow. The doctor calmly told him that they couldnt save her heart and it had stopped beating when she got to the hospital. Even though the man didnt know who the little girl was he was struck with grief. He sat down in a chair and held onto his jacket tightly. He listened as the doctor told him what had happened and what they found out about the little girl. The doctor said that she had been raised in a rich family, but her parents beat her almost to death, someone found out and the girl was put in an orphanage. A guy had adopted her but, he raped, abused, tormented, used her,and given  her to one guy at a bar. He raped her and then dumped her there in the snow. The man just gawked at what the doctor had told him. He couldnt beleive it. He'd never met the girl before but she looked familiar. Then he realized, he had seen her at an orphanage once before. He'd seen her but she looked happy. He didnt do what his instincts were. The man oddly knew that something bad would happen to this little girl, but looking at that smile,.... he couldnt bring himself to think of anything bad happening to someone like that so he just left her there. All because of the mask that the little girl had on.He sat there crying when the doctor left. It was very hard for him to cry. but he did. A few days later he heard on the news the little girls story, the guy who had adopted her along with the guy who dumped her in the snow confessed to their mistakes and were also charged with murder accounts aside from the little girl. They both were sentenced to death. The man smiled. He knew he wanted, or that those guys deserved alot more than what they are getting, he knew that the little girl is in a better place now. He arranged for her to be buried. Noone came, but him. He felt happier now, that the little girl wasnt being put through all of this. To this day he feels bad that the little girl died and he blames himself. But, everyday, he goes to her grave and reads to her and tells her stories. He knows everyone else thinks hes stupid and its an idiotic thing to do  but, he felt really bad for her and wanted her to be happy. so he did this everyday. One day, he was sitting there reading to her and he felt a hand on his shoulder. He looked around everywhere but, he could not find anyone. After that he always felt like he was alone when he came to read and tell his stories. He came less and less and then just stopped coming alltogether. The last day he visited her grave, he put a note on her gravestone and walked away.
The note said.
I hope i've made you happy for at least a little while. Before you passed on. I hope you have at least a little happy moments from  your short life. I'm so extremely sorry. There's not a day that goes by that i dont think about you. But, your in a better place now, and i know that you'll be happy there so you dont have to feel bad. Have fun.

Its sad, that people had to and still have to hide behind a mask because, they're afraid of getting hurt again again.I've met sooo many people who have had problems with their parents or even just strangers. i have no idea how they feel but i'm pretty sure they have that sheild/mask on just incase, just for protection because, theyve lost the trust they've once had. As i said i cant say anything really, and i'll never know how it feels, but i can always imagine... and i'm soorry for everyone thats ever been in any situation like this.

Its a good story. Its very true and things like that do happen and almost all of them never end with a happy ending.
I don't have it as rough as most but i have had the bitter taste of betrayal and lost my trust because of it. I also walk around with a mask on and i only let a few pear under the mask to see who and what i really am and look like in all my moods.
Once again great job on this.

That is so tragic! However, your story touches my heart and makes me so very sad for the lost child. Excellent writing ability you have, keep it up!!!
