Today is one of those sit around and think about the world days...After sitting in the dark last night, a group of us tried to go the whole day not using power.  WTF??? It was the hardest thing ever! There is so much that we take for granted, and also waste...It was sad to think of a life with all the different technologies that ease our life...

Well, with that said, I didnt make it past my afternoon coffee...

Such a morning caused me to think seriously about family time.  We spend so much time at work with other people, and when we get home, the kids are on the computer, playing video games, cell phones, and conversation is simple.  Homework done? Yeah Mom.  What did you do at school today?  Nothing...and that is pretty much it as you are off to lacrosse or hockey practice.  Pretty sad. I wonder if the children of this technological age or their children will suffer with social anxieties or just lack social skills all together?  Just something to think about...
