The Templar Knight Origin Story

Okay, I have been asked a LOT about where my name came from. People wonder if I'm part of the freemasons or whatnot and then they tend to accuse me of not knowing about the Knights Templar simply because I don't believe the conspiracy hype about them. So I decided to inform the public that so DESPERATELY wants to know my true origin story. A couple years ago, me and my friends decided to play a game called DC Universe RPG. For this game we had to make super hero characters that would operate in the DC universe and fight bad guys and all that. Well, when I was coming up with my character I decided to make a guy named Templar that would essentially be a white armored knight with a red cross splashed across his breastplate. He would also have the ability to fly and use super strength. However, due to him not being invincible, he needed the armor to prevent him from being shot. As the game went along I actually began to really enjoy my character and I decided that at some point in the future the opportunity came about I would make a comic book about this hero. Along the way I also started to become really interested in the Templar Knights, however the Dan Brown hype sort of painted the Templar Knights as a very Conspiracy driven group and so after doing some research I found out that the Knights actually have nothing to do with the Free Mason group of the same name. We didn't play that game for awhile and then we decided to start a new DC super heroes campaign and I decided to revive Templar in this new campaign. So once again i started becoming obsessed with the idea of the Templar Knights. So then I joined LV under the name BigUgly73 which I normally join anything as, unfortunately about a week I got banned from LatinSiren's room by accident. I decided to find out why I was banned and I made a SOC called TemplarKnight and when I went in they said they were banning the person ABOVE me so I laughed it off and basically continued on the conversation. When I signed in next time, I intended to sign in as BigUgly73 but it signed me in automatically as TemplarKnight so I just went with it from that point on. So yeah, although the deep down source of the name comes from an idealistic view of the Templar Knights, it is really based on an idea for a Super Hero that I made for a game.
