The Wiccan Rede
(I'm feeling thankful)

Bide ye the Wiccan Rede ye must,
In perfect love and perfect Trust.
Eight words the Wiccan Rede fulfill
An' it harm none, do as ye will
Lest in self defense it be,
Ever mind the Rule of Three
Follow ye this with mind and heart,
Merry ye meet, and merry ye part.

Notice the line "Ever mind the Rule of Three." This is probably the most important line in a Wiccan's vocabulary. What it means is that for every deed you do, it will come back threefold. For every good deed you do, you will receive 3 times the good deeds back to yourself. This also goes the other way: If you do a bad deed it will come back on you 3 times. This could literally mean 3 times the same thing or it could be 1 thing, 3 times as bad. That about sums up the rule of three because it's pretty self-explanatory.
With the Rule of Three and the rest of the Wiccan Rede, you will notice something far more different than the stereotypical witch beliefs. You will notice love, respect and caring. This goes for all Wiccans - it's the basis of their faith. I think we can all use the Wiccan Rede and live by its rules. The world might be a better place if we did.

Notice on the 5th line down
Lest in self defense it be

All Wiccans believe in some sort of Higher Power, may it be Spirit (the All), a Great/Mother Goddess, a Great/Father God, an Egyptian, Greek, Roman, etc. Pantheon, or a combonation. We also respect nature and worship Her for She is our Supporter. We were born of the Earth, blessed by the Sun, children of the Moon.

Some Wiccans also believe in mystical creatures like faeries, dragond, elvs, gnomes, and the like. The tradition of Faeries even calls upon them to work magik and to praise the Goddess. For these cratures are aspects and one with nature.

I put my mood in the thankful category, because i am thankful i found this path in my life

That was interesting as I don't know anything about it. The good deed thing is like karma which I like as its logical if I slap someone I get slapped back etc. Who knows what the truth is. Maybe a huge video is played of our life at the end that we have to watch in public, and we either die laughing or die of shame lol xox
