screams the raptures in my head,
banging on the walls,
wishing you were dead.

I won't shoot because I might miss,
and baby I never waste a bullet.

What is that which drives you on?
I don't understand this fatal force
that neglects me but embodies in you...

Do you think your smile is worth a thing?
They'll cast you aside and eat out your heart,
and you'll strum your guitar until the skin breaks
and you'll write your songs with bloodied fingers
and you'll seek for meaning
and you'll never find it...
And I?
I'll never remember to forget your smile.
