Brigid and Richard have been approached by a number of bodies, ranging from the media to publishers and producers so I am run ragged trying to keep up with creating opportunities for them as well as maintaining a distinctly non-Pony Club Mum persona. It is hard I have to admit. Hard to read the signs of Enough Already which may not be verbalised or even clear to them both:

Brigid is doing very well in school considering all she has had to deal with since last June (notably our motorcycle business burning down and "acquiring" her first boyfriend) and is on course to get some of the highest marks in school on her standard grades/highers this year. Since she has decided to only do her fifth and leave after May 2009 due to being fast tracked times are intense. So much to learn, so many choices to make. Not enough wisdom as yet TO make some choices- afterall who knows whether it is better to study music at Glasgow uni or move to Spain to work in the industry...?

Richard is beginning to settle into being a rockstar once more. He is gigging four nights a week and we see him only at the start of the week. His first "home" is almost ready and painting is still the order of the day. LOL! Furniture to buy and the WC to fit... Getting there!

My business is on "go-slow" just now with all my energy going toward keeping my family well. That is OK as I have my designs in local shops and the design work for clients doing OK on the side. Problem being that one client's hotel just burned down- it is the year of fires, I am sure! I had told them that I felt the place needed rewiring but their budget for the year did not allow for it yet.

I have decided to create this channel on LV to keep up on Brigid's behalf as she is getting stressed now with exams beginning in earnest April/May. Wish her well!
