UPDATE

(I'm feeling busy)

I just wanted to let you all know what my day is like....I take care of both parents who are both in wheel chairs and are both terminally ill...My Father has Lung Cancer and Alzheimer's, and my Mother has spine Cancer, was in remission, but I think it is back....because of their advanced ages 80 and 79, we have decided as a family not to take any more treatments... I live with them because they can not live alone...I get them up in the morning, bath, dress, feed them both and then they pretty much watch TV all day long....I do get a break in the afternoon....This is the hardest job I have ever had, but I am grateful for the time i have left with them....we have developed such loving relationships that I never had as a kid......It is the hardest job I have ever had..........BUT I WOULN'T TRADE IT FOR ANYTHING IN THE WORLD.....MY PARENTS ROCK....i love them so much......after all they are the reason I am here...

My heart breaks for you hun.. each moment you have with them is gonna be the best it ever gets. If I could turn back time I would love to be where you are now. I too cared for my mother, but was not there with dad, since he lived down south at the end...only visited a couple time near the end with him..hold them both and count your blessings sweetie. xoxo Mango xoxo

Char, my dear friend. I think what your doing is such a loving thing with your parents, and a very Godly thing. I am sure you have hard time doing all these things for your mother and father. However, when you say.."your parents rock", Well Char...:You My Good Friend Rocks Big Time sweetie. Wish I was there to help you with your parents...I haven't had a very good relashionship with mine.
