we'll be stronger
today i got a suit tailored.
i've never done that before,
i always wanted to,
but i never had a reason.
i have an interview
for a job i really want.
nowadays, any job i get
i''m more thankful for than before.
before that was never the case.
i was always angry to go to work,
now i look forward to it.
i never tried before,
now i put my all into all i do.
it's my new leaf.
that leaf was turned for me
because of our economic state.
i don't know if i would have ever gotten to this point
naturally.
i don't care if it matters or not,
but i'm thankful.
and my efforts are causing a chain-reaction.
i got my suit tailorted,
i supported my local tailor.
i supported a small business,
i'm a small part of an economic stimulant.
i see people working harder to get jobs
that before
they would have looked down on.
myself included.
yesterday i bought a burger,
i had time, because i was early
for my interview...another new leaf...
but i had time...
and during my wait for my burger
i saw a guy cleaning the lot...
he had the company paper hat on,
and a broom and pan...
and i didn't look down on him.
