Where Will Complaining Get You?

(I'm feeling accomplished)

So I was searching around the internet, when I signed into Yahoo Messenger, I see a news story about a couple who is BANNED for LIFE from Royal Carribean cruises. What is their crime you may ask? Did they deface propery, or maybe they refused to pay their bill for the porn rented in their room, claiming they didn't rent it? Not by a long shot their "crime"? Complaining. Yes, you saw that right, they're banned from Royal Carribean Cruises for Excessive complaining. Appareantly this Cleveland couple kept logs, and posted blogs on their various RC Cruise Ship Experiences, from 2004 on. Appareantly some of the issues were legit, others were just needless bitching per se. At times when the cruise ship found in favor of this couple's case, they were comped, etc. Appareantly the company got fed up and called the couple as well as sending them an official letter stating that they will NEVER be allowed on any Royal Carribean cruise ships, as long as they live. Is this excessive punishment? Is the company in the right.

My take: Complaining is okay, it's what people do, it can sometimes call attention to real issues, but in excessive it can become like the "boy who cried wolf" especially when the company compensates you every time you call their corporate offices or whatever. If you have such a large list of complaints every time you leave a cruise ship, that may be a sign to... SWITCH FUCKIN' CRUISE SHIPS. Why continue complaining after being compensated?

With McDonald's SOMETIMES when you call corporate offices and complain they MAY send you a coupon for a free value meal, but some people have done it so much, that they only send out the coupons on very rare occasions. Sometimes you'll get a letter or call, but even that becomes very rare, especially if you call the number EXTREMELY OFTEN

Also tonight, I encountered a problem where a man claims to have paid for his order with a $20 bill, called me a moron, etc. So (to sort of piss him off, and prove myself right) I had them "bank down" (count) the entire drawer, to see if I'm over (hence $10 over, then he paid with a $20, if not I'm right, no extra cash) once the drawer was banked down it was merely $.60 OVER, so I stayed in the back of the store so as to avoid confrontation and for me to keep my cool, I hate dealing with stupid people, but I really hate thieves, or people wh take you to be stupid just because you're new, it's called a job you fuckers. Don't go to restaraunts hoping to get extra cash because you've spent your money foolishly. I even have several eye witnesses who said he paid with a $10 bill, when the guy had said something on the lines of "this is all I've got until payday" (or something of that nature). Needless to say people were very proud of me for not just handing the supposed extra change. I might be a little "slow" when it comes to some things, but stupid... not by a long shot.

I also learned something kind of cool, is that when you give someone a cup, when they ask for water (in the lobby) and they choose to put soda in their cup instead of water (because they're cheap bastards) you can choose to refuse to give them their food (yes, this is true) until they dump out the soda. Just a tip for cheap bastards ;)

HAHAHA! love it! yea they definately were losers and they deserve wut they got. and uh....i admit im one of those ppl that got a cup for water and instead got pop. :( im sry webby.
