Why ? from: hundamit

(I'm feeling awake)

When hundamit asked the question "why?", the first question that leapt from my mind was, why do we never learn from history ?,...but it just hit me.
We DO learn from history. We just choose to do the wrong thing with that knowledge.
Case in point :
Every couple of hundred years, the people start to get wise to the illusion of invisible masters so,
of course you'd need something in the guide book about how in the end times, there would be a denunciation and rejection of all things good. That way, attention is re-focused to what the controlling powers' definition of good is, PLUS, as an added bonus, the power of fear plays to the masses' sensitivities to their own mortality.

See ?,...we DO learn from history.

I think we/they learn from history/herstory very well.If you want to be a good fascist,conquerer,plutocrat, prince,or just dominate people with fear....Reading Nicoli Machiavelli's work is a good start.Let's not leave out George Orwell's contributions.(Fiction based on historical reality)
"The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich" Is almost like an instruction manual for world domination.
We need that "Terrorism threat meter" back.That was such a good Idea.One simple little small box at the edge of the newscast...capable of generating fear automatically.Brilliant in it's evilness.
